To fully immerse yourself in the experience and maximise the benefits, it's essential to create a relaxing environment that fosters tranquillity and focus. Begin by setting up your space; whether it’s at our therapy room or remotely in comfort of your own home, make sure the area is quiet, comfortable, and free from distractions. Next, take a moment to check your technology, especially if you are engaging in a remote session. Ensure that your internet connection is stable, your device is fully charged, and the necessary software is installed and functioning correctly. Having these technical aspects in order will allow you to concentrate entirely on the session itself. Finally, prepare your mind and body for optimal relaxation. Consider engaging in light stretching or deep breathing exercises beforehand to centre yourself. Reflect on your intentions or goals for the session; what you hope to achieve or explore. By following these simple steps, you can enhance your treatment experience at Sjb Wellbeing.

Essential Preparation Techniques for Your Wellbeing Journey

At Sjb Wellbeing, we understand that preparing for your  session is crucial to achieving the best results. Whether you are visiting us for transpersonal regression, hypnotherapy, srt, or one of our wellness programmes, the right preparation can significantly enhance your experience. Creating the Right Environment

The environment in which you engage in your session plays a pivotal role in your overall experience. Try and keep sound as little as possible, this will assist in entraining your brain to relax , your brain waves will flow into more a lower frequency so it will become easier for you to enter into a relaxed state ready for your session to begin.  We recommend finding a quiet, comfortable space where you feel safe and secure. Consider dimming the lights and minimising distractions such as phones and televisions. It is best to go to bathroom before we begin, even if you don't feel you may need. I recommend to clean the room energetically with some sage or incense before hand to set the mood and flow.  A clutter-free space can also help in promoting relaxation and focus.

Eat lightly at least an hour or more beforehand to allow digestion, refrain from excessive intake of caffeine, Avoid alcohol and drugs.

Managing Your Technology

If your session involves remote communication, such as video calls, ensure that your devices are charged and functioning well ahead of time. Familiarise yourself with the technology to be used; have necessary software updated, and a reliable internet connection ready. Test your camera and microphone before the session to avoid interruptions. Down load Zoom if you do not have the software before,  save sjb wellbeing in to your email addresses so email does not get lost or alternatively check spam for zoom link mail. Clear any other computer programs on your screen  to eliminate any interruptions or beeps.

What happens if we loose connection during session? If this happens don't worry, you will enjoy being in your relax state for a few moments then you will naturally come around. Either call me on my telephone or send a whatsapp as i'll be waiting, Then we will reconnect and resume where we left off.

Enhancing Mental Readiness

Mental preparedness is paramount in making the most out of your session. Take some time to relax before your appointment; mindfulness practices such as deep breathing or meditation can help centre your thoughts. Consider jotting down any important topics or feelings you wish to discuss, allowing you to articulate your thoughts clearly. During session get comfortable this can be sitting, lie down or recline, most people prefer to lay down on a bed. Keeping your eyes gently relaxed and shut, 80% of sensory information comes from sight, by keeping eyes closed we are bypassing the conscious mind, your brain waves naturally slows down, creating a deeper connection into the subconscious mind. It is essential to remove glasses as this allows the brain to switch off to relax. Remove shoes, and wear loose comfortable clothing. Have a blanket on hand if you need to use or take off. 

Post-Session Reflection and Care

After your session, take a moment to reflect on your experience, allow the session to digest in your system. This might involve journaling your thoughts or simply sitting in quiet contemplation. Feel free to share any doubts, concerns, aspects of SRT, Hypnotherapy, Transpersonal that you are unsure of. After session please give yourself time before you jump back into work, emails, housework and tasks. 

A recording after session will be sent over to you so please check spam mailbox.

 Additionally, drink some water to hydrate, engage in self-care practices that resonate with you , whether that be a warm sae salt bath, a stroll in nature or simply standing barefoot on the grass, a healthy snack, or a comforting activity. Remember that each session contributes to your overall journey towards wellbeing.  

Note to remember: Transpersonal Regression Sessions can take up to 10 days to integrate the new energies into your system.
